At Sea
I concluded my BSc of Science by writing this group project on procedural content generation. Throughout the project, we wanted to uncover an area of PCG that has yet to be further explored: the weather.
The university used our project for one of their promotional videos (in Danish), which is available on Youtube.
Image 1: Players navigate a boat with the goal of discovering specific landmarks. A procedurally generated weather system impact the player experience through changes in wind direction and water level.
Image 2: The game offers both an OTS and top-down camera angle.
Image 3: A day and night cycle signifies the changing of seasons, which should help players in predicting upcoming weather changes.
